Unable to login tenant users from Spectrum in JasperServer 6.4.x console

Issue/Introduction

We are unable to see couple of tenants in Jasper console(Manage> Organization)  after adding it in Report Manager >SRM Multitenant Configuration.

Users are unable to login and fetch reports for respective tenants.

Environment

Spectrum 10.4.x

CABI JasperServer 6.4.x

 

Cause

The issue is with the group names. There is a space in the group name.
For example:

My Name
My Group

Resolution

Update all those groups/user names that have space, replace them with '_'. So:

My_Name
My_Group

Then restart Spectrum Tomcat.

Additional Information

When multitenancy is enabled then you have to login with the Tenant group and user since SSO will not work.

 

SSO internally uses "spectrum" as an organization, so when you login to OneClick with spectrum user there is no option to consider which tenant the user belongs to.

 

By default, SSO will log in to Jasper with the spectrum as an organization.  In a multitenancy environment, you need to provide the Tenant group as an organization.
