Issue/Introduction

CA NFA Harvester Service is stopping within Few seconds

Environment

CA NFA 9.3.3 on Windows 

Cause

Harvester-wrapper log Show below errors

 

INFO   | jvm 3    | 2020/03/31 01:06:42 | WrapperSimpleApp Error: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: heap allocation failed
STATUS | wrapper  | 2020/03/31 01:06:42 | The JVM has run out of memory.  Restarting JVM.

Resolution

Some of the devices will have Bogus interfaces, 

HVST_interfaces.txt file will shows bogus interfaces and look somewhat like below

Note: Patch is available to download for NFA 9.3.8 release and issue has been addressed in 9.5 release
