Action Items Remain Open

Issue/Introduction

We have process running that assigns action items to Resource Managers to approve time for contractors. Once they approve/reject the timesheet for their resource, the action item is completed and no longer visible on their screen. For some reason the action items remain open for one of our resources although the action was taken.

Can you please advise for a possible cause and solve on this matter?

Resolution

The way workflow is designed that until user actually responds to an Action Item it is not moving and process is not finished which was causing AI to stay in Open status.
