12.1 Web Viewer - CA DRAS server is not available for the security check function

Issue/Introduction

This is a new install of CA OM Web Viewer V12.1

I get the signon screen.

Once I put in my logonid and password and select login I get

Error: CA DRAS server is not available for the security check function. Contact your System Administrator.

Even though my DRAS task is running.

ran the ConfigTool, CCI Settings - this produced a message, connection failed for input string "-1 "

Resolution

noticed a trailing slash ( / ) on the home directory definition which did not look right. Removed the slash, saved the file, and recycled Tomcat.
