JasperSoft SDM_DS Datasource Connection Fails - Attribute 'contactUUID' is not defined in the Entire hierarchy

Issue/Introduction

JasperSoft Data Source connection test fails with an error message:

Substitution error in resource /organizations/casm_insights/SDM/Transactional/datasources/sdm_ds, field 'url'. Attribute 'contactUUID' is not defined in the Entire hierarchy.

Environment

JasperSoft 6.x and 7.x

All Supported Windows Operating Systems

Resolution

1. Login to JasperSoft with the 'superuser' account.

2. Navigate to Manage->Users.

3. Click the 'superuser' account and click Edit on the right panel

4. Navigate to the Attributes tab.

5. Click Add new attribute. Enter 'contactUUID' in the Name column. Leave the Value column as empty.

 

6. Click OK. Click Save.

7. Logout of JasperSoft and log back in.

8. Retest the Data Source
