AWA: CA7 Action Pack Failing SocketException connecting

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to run the CA7 Action Pack, the pack fails with an error similar to the following in the report (127.1.2.3 is a sample address):

INFO: Command execution start

ERROR | Cannot connect to: 127.1.2.3:5678

SocketException connecting to 127.1.2.3:5678

ERROR | Please check the input parameters.

****** Execution ends with response code : 1

ERROR: ******** RUN COMMAND ACTION FAILED ********

 

Environment

Component : CA7 ACTION PACK

Resolution

Confirm that the host is accessible via the Agent running the Action Pack. If that is successful, monitor the CA7 side; in previous cases a hung terminal caused this behavior and it was resolved via a reboot of CA7.
