Issue/Introduction

Apache Tomcat® abended with ABEND SYSTEM CODE=878. After recycle of Apache Tomcat® and DRAS it was resolved .
We are running Apache Tomcat® with REGSIZE='9M' So How much Shall we increase in order to overcome CODE=878

Cause

Shortage of below the line storage

Resolution

Change the Region Size to "REGION=0M", and raise the maximum heap size above the current "-Xmx4096m".
