Writing IFCID 376 To SMF or History File

Issue/Introduction

If IFCID 376 is included in System history, will this IFCID be written out to SMF also or only to the Sysview history file?

Resolution

DB2 only write to SMF and IDB2 writes to history file. If you want to write to SMF you need to start DB2 trace.  There is a job in the SOURCE(SMFSORT) that can be used to extract DB2 SMF records and Sort them for use with the IDB2 batch job.
