Issue/Introduction
What's the best way to quickly find devices that are not polling for interfaces.
All our rules state the interface must be operationally up.
We found 2 routers that were polling for device statistics but not interface statistics.
What I'd like to do now is find other devices that are only polling on the device level and not interface level so I can correct those too.
Environment
Release : 3.x
Component : IM Reporting / Admin / Configuration
Cause
Polling for some metric families can become stale and this will cause that MF to stop polling.
Resolution
There is a script available called getPolledDeviceInfo that will check for devices that are active but have no interface (ifstats) values for the last hour.
Please contact support for this script and directions to use it.
