Issue/Introduction

Some machines may encounter freezing behavior after installing Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11.3.  Systems are running properly and will intermittently freeze.  The display may still be active and the system requires a hard shutdown to recover.

This issue was not observed in Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11.2.x or prior.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11.3 MP1HF1 (Build 6054).  If freezing behavior is being encountered, please contact Symantec Enterprise Division support to obtain this hotfix release.

This fix will also be included in subsequent Maintenance Packs or future builds of Symantec Endpoint Encryption.
