Zowe/Brightside doesn't appear to be a updated after installing version 3.0

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Brightside/Zowe cli 3.0 using NPM, the version display still has version 2.0. 

Environment

Brightside 3.0

Cause

This can happen when a prior release of Brightside/Zowe had been installed using the Windows installer.

Resolution

From the commandline, issue the 'where zowe' command. If the path doesn't show the \Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\npm  directory, there could be another instance in a path before your npm install. Check the order of paths under Advanced System Settings, Environment Variables.  Modify the path order so npm is first.
For version 3.0, 'zowe --V' will return 6.8.2
