I've installed CA IDMS Server & CA IDMS VDBA on Windows 10 Enterprise, 64-bit. CA IDMS Server is working (CA IDMS ODBC driver is installed and tested successfully).
After launching Visual DBA, the Nodes window displays < No Nodes>. When I attempt to 'add node' and select system (yes) or user (no) DSN, I expect the ODBC administrator to launch. Nothing happens.
So, VDBA will not 'find' the system DSN I manually created using the 64-bit ODBC administrator, nor will it allow me to 'add' a new node.
The 64-bit ODBC admin shows the CA IDMS driver, version 17.00.36.00, file CAIIOD35.DLL dated 9/22/2011.
The 32-bit ODBC admin does NOT show the CA IDMS driver. Is there a 32-bit IDMS ODBC driver I need to install?
