Issue/Introduction

Startup of CEM's CEMELDAP task fails with the error:

BPXM047I BPXBATCH FAILED BECAUSE SPAWN (BPX1SPN) OF  600 /cai/cacem/ldap/slapd FAILED WITH RETURN CODE            

00000081 REASON CODE 0594003D.

Cause

Reason code 0594003D means:  JRDirNotFound: A directory in the pathname was not found     

 

Resolution

The RETURN CODE 00000081 REASON CODE 0594003D indicates a directory in the pathname was not found which can be caused by the OMVS User Profile record's HOME directory not pointing to the CA LDAP Server USS installation directory.

To address the problem verify that the OMVS User Profile record that is associated with the CA LDAP Server started task has the HOME directory pointing to the CA LDAP Server USS installation directory.
