Allocate DASD Space and Placement

Issue/Introduction

We have an online VSAM file that prior to being added to VSAM RLS was being extended successfully by VAM. it was defined with 2 candidate volumes and extended to 11.

This week we moved the file to VSAM RLS and got a failure to extend after 3 volumes.
Is there any known issues with VAM extending a VSAM dataset after it was moved to VSAM RLS?
