CA Allocate failing to extend VSAM RLS file

Issue/Introduction

We have an online VSAM file that prior to being added to VSAM RLS was being extended successfully by VAM. it was defined with 2 candidate volumes and extended to 11.

This week we moved the file to VSAM RLS and got a failure to extend after 3 volumes.
Is there any known issues with VAM extending a VSAM dataset after it was moved to VSAM RLS?

Below is error encountered:

IEC070I 104-0460,PPOSFOR2,PPOSFOR2,DHCFLOGH,C062,,                  
IEC070I PSHROL.DHCLOGH.LOG.ARCHIVE,PSHROL.DHCLOGH.LOG.ARCHIVE.DATA,

IEC070I - 104-204, an error occurred during EOV processing for a VSAM data set

Resolution

CA Allocate will not be able to provide the VSAM end-of-volume support for a RLS accessed VSAM data set.
