Issue/Introduction

I installed Xendesktop locally on and admin console is showing in the pending state.

Environment

Release : 9.0.2

Component : UIM - XENDESKTOP

Cause

My Xendesktop server is a cluster server.

Resolution

You need to follow this guide and configure both resources.

Create and Configure Profiles

 Click 
Add
 to add a secondary server as an alternate resource so that the probe can monitor multiple servers in a clustered environment. For more information, see

Add Alternate Resources
You can add one server as the primary resource and the remaining as alternate resources. Monitoring information is collected from the primary resource. If the primary resource is down, secondary resource collects the data.
 
Follow these steps:
 
  • Create a new profile or edit an existing profile.
  • Click 
    Add 
    in the 
    Xendesktop
     
    Alternate Resources
     section to query the controller for Xendesktop server names.
  • Select a host from the 
    Hostname
     and specify the information as specified in 
    Step 2
     and
     3
     of 
    Create and Configure Profiles 
    section. 
  • Click 
    Actions > verify Subscription
     to verify the connection to the XenDesktop server.
  • Click 
    Save
    .
     
    Repeat the above steps to add each secondary server as an alternate resource.
