Unable to login Spectrum OneClick Client application - An unexpected error occurred: java.lang.NullPointerException

Issue/Introduction

When trying to login to OneClick login fails with the following error:

SPC-OCC-10267: An unexpected error occurred: java.lang.NullPointerException

 

 

Environment

Release : 10.x

Component : Spectrum OneClick

Cause

In this specific case, the Spectrum user model had become corrupted. 

- other users were able to login from the same system
- the problem user was unable to login from multiple systems

Resolution

Delete and recreate the user model for the problem account. After doing so the user
  was again able to successfully login to OneClick and access the console.
