Authentication Attempt Failed with Basic authentication in Web Agent

Issue/Introduction

Running a Web Agent, the Policy Server reports the error Authentication Attempt Failed, whilst trying to access a protected resource with the basic authentication scheme.

Cause

The root LDAP search for the User Directory LDAP setting was not configured.

Resolution

Add the root LDAP search in the LDAP settings section of the User Directory.
