As the CAS9182A message being generated was not only filling up the console but was also issuing continuous emails, the client opted for suppressing the message.
To suppress the message, the client:
. Issued command "tso OPSMVS" to enter OPS/MVS.
. In the CAI.OPSMVS.TARG.MSG.RULES(ALL) member, the client added action:
. . if MSG.ID = "CAS9182A" then RETURN DELETE
. Enabled the rule, and then set it for AutoEnable.
As a result of the above, the CAS9182A message stopped being generated to the Syslog, and the emailing about the message stopped.
Note: The client will address their Licensing matters, regarding their LMPKEYS, so that the messages are not generated.
