Assertion in policy server logs is encrypted

Issue/Introduction

We have an partnership based on saml2.0 and we are using the settings to encrypt the assertion.

After we enable encryption , we are not able to see the plain text assertion in siteminder policy server logs.

 

Resolution

If you use the idp template in the profiler tab in smconsole, you should see both the encrypted and the unencrypted assertion in the smtracedefault.log.
