Issue/Introduction

SAML2 IDP Certificate is changing, how do I update Performance Management

Environment

Release : All Versions of Performance Management

Component : IM Reporting / Admin / Configuration

Resolution

1. Acquire a new metadata from the IDP

2. Swap this new metadata xml out with the old metadata xml, it is generally contained within the following directory and is listed in the saml.properties file in the directory as well

 /opt/CA/PerformanceCenter/sso/webapps/sso/configuration

3. Once the files have been swapped, restart the caperfcenter_sso service

systemctl restart caperfcenter_sso
