Issue/Introduction

I am seeing the message when going to the Simulation page in the Next Generation Web UI.

There is no valid license at this time to enable use of the Terma Simulation product.

Please contact Terma tech support to learn more about this product and how you can enable it.

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

• If on a version earlier then 6.3.1 enable the new AAI webUI if on a release earlier then 6.0.2, if on 6.3.1 or later it will be enabled by default and there is no need to update the parameters below.
• Bring up the Configuration Tool  {AAI Installation Directory/config/run.bat or run.sh}
• Select the Params Tab:

• Change the Show drop-down to "hidden named parameters"
• For each parameter in the following list:
  • simulation.enable
  • featureToggle.simulationService
  • Select the Show "hidden param button"
  • Copy/Paste the parameter name in the box and select OK
  • Change the Value Column to true
  • Select Apply and OK

 

Once enabled you must also make sure to add Autosys with the "Next Generation" Prediction Model which you will see on the Advanced tab of the Add Scheduler window like below:
