Issue/Introduction

IM group's %GROUP_ADMIN% value is case-sensitive so if the DN value stored in that attribute on the group does not match the user DN exactly IM will not display that group as one that the user can manage.

Resolution

1. Export the IM UserDir XML and modify it so that you replace:

<AdminGroupTypes type="NONE"/>

with the following instead:

<AdminGroupTypes type="ALL"/>

2. Import the updated XML

3. Rstart the IM application server
