Issue/Introduction

After an upgrade from v12.0, v11.2 or previous version of the Automation Engine, a Java error occurs in AWI when opening the object.

The following error is displayed:

Error during XRequest com.uc4.webui.communication.requests.OpenObjectAdapter.

As a consequence it is possible that the object cannot be deleted by the current user

The following type of sub error can be found:

No enum constant com.uc4.api.objects.UserRight.Type.USG

The last part (underlined) of the constant indicated the no longer existing authorization type.

Cause

The is error in the reference to an object type in the object.

For instance, instead of DOCU (correct) the spelling is DOKU (incorrect) or instead of USRG (correct) the spelling is USG (incorrect)

Environment

Release : 12.2 / 12.3

Component : AUTOMIC WEB INTERFACE

Resolution

Export the object as xml and check the spelling of the object type.
Then correct the error and reimport.

If you get an error that the object is being edited while deleting, logout and delete with another user.

Alternatively, you can delete the User or Usergroup and remove the object, then recreate from AWI.
