ERRORCODE=-4214, SQLSTATE=28000>
End date and time: 2020/03/18 13:43:54

Environment

Release : 4.8

Component : CA Test Data Manager

Cause

1. Even though we cleared cache, we noticed it was using the same connection string.

2. Error said Connection authorization failure occurred. Reason: Local security service non-retryable error. ERRORCODE=-4214, SQLSTATE=28000>
Looks like Server Encrypt was not set. You need to add a property   in the Additional Connection Properties field. This might be new to the DB2 environment

3. Two DB connection profiles with the same name CIT-TIX with different username /password,  when trying to publish  it was not connecting to the right DB connection profile because of that.

Resolution

1. Clear browser Cache
2. Delete all stale connections or old connections from the DB connection Profile
3. Recreate a new DB connection profile with the same name  and use the new username /password.
4. If Sever is encrypted,  use   Authentication=SERVER_ENCRPT  in the "Additional Connection Properties"
5. Test your connection and Publish the jobs.
