Number of snapshots retained field is grayed out in Identity Manager

Issue/Introduction

When creating a snapshot definition in the Identity Manager User Console, the field Number of snapshots retained is set to 1 and is grayed out/disabled.

Release : 14.5

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Cause

The field is intentionally disabled. The Jasper Report Server UI is internally embedded within the Identity Manager User Console. Because the Jasper Report Server UI does not include an option to select specific snapshot definitions, keeping multiple snapshot definitions is no longer supported.

Resolution

The default retention is limited to one snapshot to maintain compatibility with the embedded Jasper Report Server UI. For further details on the configuration requirements for snapshots, refer to the official documentation:
