This article describes how to resolve an issue with "Login failed for user" during the Upgrade Preparation phase of the UIM upgrade installer.
Notes:
- The Login failure occurred at 14% "Analyzing database for upgrade ..."
- Error message received: Login failed for user ". ClientConnectionId:xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Release: UIM 9.0.2 (Upgrade to UIM 9.2.0)
Release: UIM 9.2.0 (Upgrade to UIM 20.x)
Component: UIM - INSTALL
For UIM 9.0.2
1. Upgrade the data_engine probe on the Primary Hub system to: data_engine-9.02HF3.zip
2. Upgrade the Primary Hub probe to: hub_7.97HF6.zip
3. Upgrade the Primary Hub robot to: robot_update-7.97HF8.zip
4. Re-run the upgrade.
For UIM 9.2.0
1. Upgrade the data_engine probe on the Primary Hub system to: data_engine-9.20_HF5.zip
2. Upgrade the Primary Hub probe to: hub_9.20_HF16.zip
3. Upgrade the Primary Hub robot to: robot_update-9.20_HF21.zip
4. Re-run the upgrade
