Odata query is missing property values like item names in Performance Management

Issue/Introduction

In an odata query we are trying to get metric data from a CA Mediation Manager (CAMM) Device Pack (DP). While we can see the data, we can’t see the name of the component or the name of the device.

The component and device names are visible in Performance Center (PC) and we can also see the component name and device name in Vertica.

We have tried restarting the Data Aggregator but still we aren’t seeing the names in Odata.

Environment

Release : 3.7

Component : IM Reporting / Admin / Configuration

Cause

Unable to determine as it was inadvertently resolved before debugging and analysis could be completed.

Resolution

Restart the DP involved.

In this instance, while debugging the issue, a change was made to the CAMM DP creating and gathering data for the items/devices involved. The change was unrelated to this issue but required a restart of the DP as all changes like that require. After the restart of the DP the issue is resolved.
