Can EMCS consoles be shared among Solve regions/LPARs?

Issue/Introduction

Two different Solve regions, running on different LPARs are using the same specification parameters ($RM CONSOLES):

Is this supported? Any possible problem?

Resolution

This is supported and the only possible downside to this configuration is limiting the number of consoles available because the consoles are shared across the Sysplex. 

As both regions have specified that their consoles should have the same names, they will both be trying to use the same console pool of ZCNSL001-ZCNSL255, so they will not have the full pool available to each region.
