single view with data sets with a type of SMS and MVS in a user group with VAM

Issue/Introduction

I need a way to generate a report that can combine and display data sets with a type of SMS and MVS in a user group with VAM data sets all in the same report or dashboard.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA Vantage Storage Resource Manager

Resolution

Create a join between "Storage Group Volumes" (POOLVOLS) and "All Data sets" (DTOC4SYS). Base object POOLVOLS with filter for desired SG type (VAM, USR for example.). Candidate object DTOC4SYS with no filter. Join field Volume. This creates an joined object with of all data sets from storage groups for the filtered SG Types.
