When running the Datacom utility DBCGSPR to generate source members from the CUSLIB, it was noticed that many of the source members had a comma added to the END statements.
For example, in member @IIDOPTS:
END ,
Is this comma expected, or is it a problem?
Other members with this comma are:
DBMSTLST
DBSYSID
DBUREND
DQOPTLST
IS08Z09I
DDSYSTBL
DDURTBL
DBCSID
IDOPTSCB
SCASYNTB
SCWEBTB
SCTRANTB
SCBOPTCB
According to our R&D team, the comma on the END statement is deliberate, as it prevents any comment that could be added to the card from being treated as an operand of the END statement.
For more information about the DBCGSPR utility, please review the documentation section titled "Generating Source Members from CUSLIB Content."
