Issue/Introduction

The following error occurs when trying to generate a Crystal Reports\CABI Report:

The viewer could not process an event. An error occurred while creating a subprocess in the processing server. 

 

 

Environment

Release : 10.3.1

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

• CABI Service would not start and was hung at starting.
• Reboot the server to refresh the connection.

Additional Information

• Crystal Reports \ CABI 4.3 is no longer supported with Spectrum 10.3.x+
• Spectrum 10.3.x+ only supports TIBCO Jaspersoft for Spectrum Report Manager functions.
