Issue/Introduction

You installed SEP 14.2 RU1 MP1 on SUSE Enterprise Linux Server 12 SP1.
When you click [Symantec Endpoint Protection] in [Applications] - [System Tools], SEP client GUI does not launch.

Environment

SUSE Enterprise Linux Server 12 SP1
SEP 14.2 RU1 MP1

Resolution

Broadcom is aware of this issue and will update this document when a solution becomes available.

Work around:
If you want to launch SEP client GUI, go to notification area of OS desktop then right click SEP icon and choose [Symantec Endpoint Protection].
