How can I monitor the number of currently active SVC sessions? The specific OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.392.1.3.35
Environment
CAPM 3.x
Resolution
This can be done with the Cisco Remote Access Activity metric family. You must do the following:
1. Create a new custom monitoring profile
2. Add the Cisco Remote Access Activity metric family
3. Create a collection of relevant devices
4. Associate the monitoring profile to the collection you created in step #3. This will kick off a component discovery of the devices int he collection
5. Now you can create a custom report to report against the metric
Assuming the metric is polling as expected you should now see data on your dashboard
