How can I monitor the number of currently active SVC sessions? The specific OID is 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.318.104.22.168
This can be done with the Cisco Remote Access Activity metric family. You must do the following:
1. Create a new custom monitoring profile 2. Add the Cisco Remote Access Activity metric family 3. Create a collection of relevant devices 4. Associate the monitoring profile to the collection you created in step #3. This will kick off a component discovery of the devices int he collection 5. Now you can create a custom report to report against the metric
Assuming the metric is polling as expected you should now see data on your dashboard
