Issue/Introduction
During Xtraction upgrade, receive an error related to "Installing Scheduler Service"
Environment
Xtraction All Supported Windows Operating Systems
Resolution
You need to remove the Scheduler Service before proceeding with the Xtraction upgrade.
If you encounter the same issue/error on the "Installing Alert Service" step, it means that you need to also delete the Alert Service before running the Xtraction upgrade.
To remove the services use the below commands:
SC delete <Xtraction scheduler service name> (i.e. SC delete Xtraction.SchedulerService) SC delete <Xtraction alert service name> (i.e. SC delete Xtraction.AlertService)
