SYSVIEW Performance Management

Issue/Introduction

Running Sysview r15, there are no security user groups set up. USERID1 is an administrator according to what is listed in CNM4SCFG(GSVXGSVX):

Administrator-Userid             USERID1

Going into Sysview and typing the USERS commands, checking that this userid is an administrator:

SYSVIEW 15.0 PRODE --------- USERS, Product Users --------- 2020/03/12 11:56:38

______   USERID1    USERID1     TSU       3047      IN         ISPF         IC302PE    ADMIN

However, trying to do anything in  SYSVIEW SECURITY is prohibited.  ALL of the fields on the screen are protected.

However another ADMIN userid in the sysplex is able to overtype fields on some LPARs, but not on others.

All of the LPARs are in the same sysplex and share all the same libraries.

Environment

SYSVIEW 15.0 & 16.0 - z/OS supported releases -

Resolution

In fact, ONLY one person can update the SYSVIEW security dataset at any one time because it is shared in the sysplex.
