VNA Tunnel item Event traps from Performance Management missing VARBINDs

Issue/Introduction

VNA Tunnel item Events do not show against the parent device.

 

When the same Event is sent as a trap via Notification entries, the received trap only contains 18 out of the 56 expected VARBIND OIDs.

Cause

The tunnel item types involved have an ItemSubType set, but no ItemType. As a result many of the Event Properties in the missing VARBINDs don't get set. When not set they aren't included in the trap sent.

Resolution

Pending resolution in a Performance Management release r20.2.2 via defect DE431603.
