Issue/Introduction

This article describes the commands necessary to enable TCP/IP tracing in IDMS.

Resolution

In order to enable TCP/IP tracing for a bulk LTERM in IDMS, it is first necessary to enable it on the listener LTERM, and then set the x'08' flag in the listener PTERM so that the trace flags will be propogated from the listener LTERM to the bulk LTERMS.

Sample commands:

DCMT VARY LTERM TCPLLIST TCP/IP TRACE ALL
DCMT VARY PTERM TCPPLIST TRACE ALLIO 08
