Resolution

  • The systemObjectId for Cisco 3504 WLC is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.2427
  • Verify the Device is classified correctly within Tools > Utilities > Device Certification

  • If the device is correctly classified within Spectrum Device manager check the systemObjectId for the device and make sure the value is correct: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0 ObjectID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.2427
  • If the device has the correct ObjectID value then within Spectrum Select WLC > Reconfigure > Re-evaluate Model Names to update the Device Type Name:
