Issue/Introduction

The Service Manager Dialog is failing to connect to the Service Manager with error message below.

Cause

The root cause for this issue is either the hostname of the Service Manager is not reachable or the port number used by the Service Manager is not opened(Firewall).

Environment

Release : 11.x, 12.x

Component : Service Manager, Service Manager Dialog

Resolution

Please make sure that the hostname and the port number used by the Service Manager is reachable and open, respectively, from the machine where the Service Manager Dialog.
