Issue/Introduction

After upgrade of java openjdk from 1.8.0_232 to 1.8.0_242, the GMU tool failed.

Command:

/mgmt/bin/XTT/GatewayMigrationUtility.sh migrateIn -b /mgmt/etc/XTT/deploy/apigwbe-external-fet.intapp.eu/APIGW.B2BAPI.BE.INTAPP.EU.MUBA.TATRABANK.V1.PKG/policyimport.all --destFolder /b2bapi.be.intapp.eu/MuBa/Tatrabank --clientCert /mgmt/etc/XTT/keys/apideploy.fet.intapp.eu.p12 --comment https://asubversion.kbc.be:6083/svn/fai_xtt/b2bapi.be.intapp.eu/MuBa/Tatrabank/v1/tags/APIGW.B2BAPI.BE.INTAPP.EU.MUBA.TATRABANK.V1.PKG-2020W08.0.1/APIGW.B2BAPI.BE.INTAPP.EU.MUBA.TATRABANK.V1.PKG --encryptionPassphrase <...removed...> -h s2ab00ic.be.srv.acc.sys -p 8443 -x @file:/mgmt/etc/XTT/keys/apideploy.fet.intapp.eu.encoded -u JE14843 --results /mgmt/etc/XTT/deploy/apigwbe-external-fet.intapp.eu/APIGW.B2BAPI.BE.INTAPP.EU.MUBA.TATRABANK.V1.PKG.xml --hideProgress --trustCertificate --trustHostname --skipTemplateCheck --hideProgress

Error:

Invalid Argument: Error reading password file: length cannot be negative: -1

When replacing -x @file:... parameter with plaintext password in the command, it succeeded again.

After downgrading java again to version 1.8.0_232 again, the above command worked again.

Environment

Release : 9.4

Component : API GTW ENTERPRISE MANAGER

Resolution

GMU 1.7 resolves the problem.
