SQL query in px actions doesn´t work

Issue/Introduction

We want to create a PX policy that inserts a row in an external SQL table for specific events.

we have configured the SQL server database in JBoss datasources and the connection works fine.

We have tried a simple SELECT query in the PX to test the connection. connection and query works fine if is tested in the Data tab.

but, the same query tested in the Actions tab doesn´t work.

 

 

Environment

Release : 14.X

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Resolution

While the Data tab is used to gather data (ie select), the Action tab is more for activity oriented - such as Insert, Update etc.

Utilizing insert / update oriented queries from the Action tab is working as expected
