Issue/Introduction

I am working on a plan to proceed with the creation of new Resource Profiles within the vmware probe, and have been reviewing the following Broadcom documents.

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/ca-unified-infrastructure-management-probes/GA/alphabetical-probe-articles/vmware-vmware-monitoring/vmware-ac-configuration.html#concept.dita_ffad0d2dc11f46ecc6a7e2e1627f4dff97d4b6c6_CreateResourceProfiles
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/unified-infrastructure-management/8-35/vmware-ac-apply-monitoring-with-templates.html

I would like to refer to the next statement about "Configure Alarms, Events, and Monitors", before proceeding with my specific concerns:
"Once a Resource profile is added, the components of the Resource are displayed in the tree. Click a node in the tree to see the alarms, events, or monitors available for that component.
Configure the QoS measurements, and any alarms or events you want, by modifying the appropriate fields."

1. After adding the required data for the specific vCenter in order to create the new profile, will all the sub-components show up automatically in the tree, and have standard (by default templates) monitoring automatically applied? *I have noticed that "Apply Bulk Config Default Template" option is currently checked within vmware configuration.

2. Where can I find the different rules and filters that are currently applied for each of the templates, in order to make sure which are the alarms, events or monitors that are currently enabled for the devices? While looking into specific templates within vmware probe raw data, I have seen that there is rule applied on all of them that says "current", but not sure about what that means, and if that is the right field to look at.

3. Additionally, while looking into vmware probe raw data, within resources, I can see "auto-monitors" and "monitors". What is that data really showing? Would that be all the monitoring (those that are Active "True") that is currently applied to each of those resources/profiles? Is there any easier way of looking at them instead of going one by one? They are only showing numbers as sections, with no readable information on them.
