ibmqrepVERTIME column error while publishing data

Article ID: 186169

Updated On:

CA Test Data Manager (Data Finder / Grid Tools)

We have ibmqrepVERTIME  as a common column datatype for one of our DB2 UDB V9.7 based applications. While inserting hard coded data manually into this column using Oracle SQL Developer, the query executes fine, but while using various types of Generation function in DataPainter or even hard-coding the value in Generator, the Publish of data into tables with this column type is failing.

Can you please advise?

Unable to cast object of type 'IBM.Data.DB2Types.DB2String'

Release : 4.8

Component : CA Test Data Manager

Javelin is just a "victim" in this case - when you export Javelin workflow through GTSubset, then no double quotes will be used around column names and causing the issue later when importing and running it in Javelin. That's why we actually patched GTSubset and Javelin stayed without changes for this moment. I tried to find all the places where double quotes should be used but it could happen that I missed one or two places so please report it together with saved workflow from GTSubset after your verification.

Unable to cast object of type 'IBM.Data.DB2Types.DB2String' is fixed.
