Roadmaps grid unable to load custom view: "Loading Data... Please Wait"

One user created a grid view and saved as the user's view. But next time she was not able to open the view. "Loading Data... Please Wait". The data never showed up.

We checked the logs and didn't see any errors or warnings. The user had to delete her view and recreate a new one. If this situation happens again, is there any way we can fix the view to make it loading, instead of deleting and recreating?


Release : All supported releases



  • Remove all possible columns from the view. 
  • Ensure the columns added to the view are indeed the ones selected. 
  • If discrepancies, between the grid view and the columns selected on the Columns panel, select and deselect as necessary.
  • View Options menu > Note all options selected and remove them.
  • Once the view is per default, the roadmap items should load.
  • Reset the View Options and Columns as per user needs

Additional Information

Things you could try to do if this occurs again is:

  • Navigate somewhere else (i.e. Timesheets etc) and then navigate back. See if the View loads
  • Clear browser cache
  • Restart the browser and try again. Try another browser
  • You could also make them enable Dev Tools on their browser and see if there is not any specific errors in the console
