PC (Performance Center) status support on Adobe Flash (end-of-life)

Issue/Introduction

For PC (Performance Center) to access Groups functionality, we need to enable Flash support in Chrome browser but this will no longer be in Chrome available after December 2020.

Google Chrome discontinued the use of Adobe Flash in update 53 of their browser.
While the software can still be enabled through Chrome settings, Google has confirmed that effective the date of end of life for Flash, Google will completely block Flash from being able to run under the Chrome browser.

Group Administration or Management page empty or blank.

Environment

Cause

Performance Management r3.7.11 and older releases require Adobe Flash to render the Groups views for the Group Management page.

Resolution

The r3.7.12 release of Performance Management introduces a new Performance Center UI that does not use Flash.

Upgrade Performance Management to release r3.7.12 or later to take advantage of the new UI without Flash.

DX Netops 20.2 has also removed flash from the group editor in the Netops Portal (formerly CA Performance Center)
