Issue/Introduction

Password not getting updated when using PASSWORD UPDATE in Page mode ESP.
Receives error message 'ESP4133 Specified password entry not found'

Release : 12.0

Component : CA ESP WORKLOAD AUTOMATION

Resolution

User tried to update a password entry and put a single quote into the password value. There was no closing single quote. This was done by mistake. The update was successful though. Then the User would like to correct the PASSWORD and specified PASSWORD UPDATE with closing single quote on the PASSWORD entry. ESP failed failed to update the entry always returning 'ESP4133 Specified password entry not found' error message.

The recommended action was to delete the password entry and define it from scratch using commands PASSWORD DELETE USER and then                        PASSWORD DEFINE USER
