CA View - v14 Installation ASSIGN, HOLDDATA, and PTF jobs

Issue/Introduction

The client is upgrading CA View/Deliver from v12 to 14, and is using the following steps:

 . BRM50CAR - Download CA Recommended Service ASSIGN statements  

 . BRM60RCH - SMP/E Receive of HOLDDATA                          

 . BRM70RCM - SMP/E Receive of Downloaded PTFs        

 

Can the above SMP/E jobs be bypassed, by doing a RECEIVE ORDER for HOLDDATA and RECOMMENDED via HTTPS?

Component : CA View

Resolution

CA SMP/E Internet Service retrieval can be used to get the latest maintenance and Holddata.
Using a RECEIVE ORDER will deliver the same information.

PTF SO10882 was not to be included, as it was withdrawn and will not be reissued.
