Environment

VSI OpenVMS I64 V8.4-2L1
CA Job Management for OpenVMS r3.1 plus product patches.

Cause

Just upgraded operating system to VSI OpenVMS I64 V8.4-2L1 and the following crash occurs when executing the SCHEDULE DCL command:

SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=000000017ACB1958, PC=00000000004B0641, PS=0000001B
Improperly handled condition, image exit forced.

Resolution

This problem is fixed by VSI ECO VMS 842L1_RTL-V0200.

As a temporary workaround, fall back to the previous version of the Pascal run-time library , namely SYS$LIBRARY:PAS$RTL.EXE, that was in place prior to installing ECO VMS 842l1I_RTL-V0100

and execute an INSTALL REPLACE DCL command to install the replaced version as a known image.
