Error when running CARS Update at a SMPE CSI

Issue/Introduction

When upgrading an SMPE CSI via CSM via a CARS update, the next error can occur

Similar error can occur during Get Latest Maintenance for a Product:

 r has occurred while running quick update:
 org.apache.http.client.HttpResponseException: Gateway Time-out

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : CSM ELECTRONIC SOFTWARE DELIVERY

Resolution

Switching to HTTPS download solved the issue..
In the Settings tab under the CSM Gui, select System Settings, Software Acquisition..
Check if the 'Use HTTPS for Downloads' field is marked... If not, mark it..
Press the APPLY at the bottom of the page and retry.

If the switch to HTTPS is not possible or problem persists, please raise a support case for Chorus Software Manager
