What is a CA Identity Manager Snapshot Report?

Resolution

You can run reports for your Identity Manager environment, Snapshot reports reflect the state of objects in Identity Manager at a given time (or over a period of time).

Snapshot reports are generated from data in the snapshot database.  This data is populated by a snapshot definition and extracted from the Identity Manager object store and the Identity Manager user store, it does not go directly to the Endpoint in order to generate snapshot data.
